Maxfactor Facefinity All Day Flawless Foundation
Like most makeup wearers I do have my preferences for certain brands and I have favourite items or ‘don’t leave the house without’ items in my makeup bag that I have bought over and over again and will continue to to do so until they go out of production but at the same time I like to try new products and I like to be open to them. A few weeks ago I bought the MAC Eye Brows pencil, which I have added to my list of favourites and I rarely leave the house without it. This week I was in need of some new foundation and when I heard about Max Factor’s newest foundation to the market … Facefinity I decided to give it a go.
… catchy name by all means had a lot to live up to by means of the name and the description of all day flawless foundation. It’s a 3 in 1 foundation, which means that it is a Primer, Concealer and Foundation in one, it also has a SPF of 20 which is one of the most important ingredients for those of us wishing to live crinkle free in the future. It costs €16.99 from most retailers which is very reasonable for a foundation and the fact that it is also a 3 in 1 makes it even better value.
So does it live up to the Facefinity name and fulfill my foundation needs, well the answer is YES. I was concerned that it might be quite heavy as it does contain a primer and concealer but it isn’t. It is rather light, blends well and because of the 3 in 1 formula it isn’t shiny and doesn’t rub off easily. My only advice is that if you have dry skin, you need to make sure you moisturise well before applying, this is something you should do anyway but because the foundation is matt, it will only highlight your dry spots if you have them. So have I found another favourite for my makeup bag … I think I have and Max Factor Facefinity gets two big thumbs up from me.
