Margarita Cocktail Recipe
Tequila is one of my favourite drinks and a Margarita is my favourite Tequila based cocktail. So with the fine weather setting in it’s a good time to master the art of Margarita making, well it’s not really an art it’s actually a very handy cocktail to make with very little ingredients needed.
So here’s how I do it.
- 1 shot of Tequila (Blanco)
- 1/2 shot of Triple Sec
- Lime juice
- Cubed ice
(this can vary depending on your tastes. More tequila ?? Why not).
Chill your glass and have it ready. Put all of the above ingredient into a cocktail shaker and shake the hell out of it for about 30 seconds. Run a lime wedge around your chilled glass and dip the top of your glass into salt. Strain your mixture into your chilled and salted glass and away you go. You can add a slice or a wedge of lime for decoration.
There it is, nice and handy. Now all we need is the nice weather.
