Bushmills Irish Honey
Bushmills Irish Honey has been around for a while now but up until recently I hadn’t had the chance to try it. It’s a blend of Bushmills and Irish honey. It’s called a spirit drink as they can’t call it a whiskey due to the fact that it’s only 35% alcohol (All Irish Whiskey must contain at less 40% alcohol to be called Irish whiskey) but having said this, it is a tasty brew.
The smoothness of the Bushmills Whiskey and the sweetness of the honey really work together. Aromas of fruit follow through onto the palate and the sweetness of the honey comes back at the end.
This is a good one if you are a whiskey drinker and looking for something a little different.
You should be able to pick it up in your local Off Licence and it will set you back around €30.
