Bubblicity – George’s St Arcade, Middle Abbey St & Nassau St, Dublin

Bubblicity

Bubblicity is Ireland’s first Bubble Tea Shop … it’s been around less than a year and already has three shops both north and south of the Liffey and that in itself tells you something. I’ve known about it since its grand opening but being a fiend for coffee passed it by many a time in the George’s Street Arcade, it wasn’t until last week that I actually ventured into the Middle Abbey Street shop to try it out and no, it wasn’t their newly introduced Gourmet Coffee that tempted me, I was there to try me some Bubble Tea! I’m glad that I did now and wish I had tried it out sooner.

Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese tea drink that can be made from white, black, red or green tea and is mixed with fresh fruit flavours. When I popped in the other day I hadn’t got a clue how it worked but thankfully the customer service was great and I was advised of how it worked and what I could choose. I chose a Passionfruit and Mango Green Tea with Lychee Bubbles. It was cold, refreshing, the bubbles were sweet and I felt like a little kid sucking them through the straw and bursting them … Yum! …all this and it was fat free! I got myself a loyalty card and I know that it won’t take me long to fill it!
