Get in Bloom with Jessica Nails for Summer 2014

I was invited along to a very special ‘Get in Bloom with Jessica Nails‘ Event a week or so ago. The bubbly flowed and so did the sweet treats. We were there to see and try out the new ‘In Bloom’ Summer 2014 Nail Colour Collection from Jessica Cosmetics and to help us do so the event was set up like a salon. A brilliant idea that allowed its guests, which consisted of moi plus a number of other bloggers and writers, the opportunity to mingle and get our nails did … sure what more could a gal ask for on a school night?

Inspired by a blossoming rose garden, the new collection is right up my street when it comes to nail colours for both my fingers and toes. With colours ranging from the ‘Enchanting‘ soft blue to the ‘Longing‘ deep blue that could represent the summer sky, the ‘Whispering‘ mint colour that could represent the summer leaves, the ‘Blazing‘ red colour, and ‘Loving‘ and ‘Awakening‘ pinks which most likely represents the roses in the garden, this is one palate I would not tire of and if you purchase the whole collection, its delivered in a gorgeous rose-covered box … elegant and fun!

Anyhoo after a mingle, a glass of two of the chilled bubbly and a few snaps, it was time for me to go. Time flies when you are having fun but unfortunately for me, time wasn’t on my side that evening and I had to leave before my turn to avail of the salon experience. However my nails were still all about Jessica as they’d been freshly painted with ‘Purple Burst‘ from the ‘Jessica Awesome Neon Set‘ that morning.

I couldn’t wait to try it out my new nail colours and my choice was to wear the ‘Whispering‘ mint on my finger nails and ‘Blazing‘ red on my toes. The polish glides on, the texture is just right for perfect coverage in ONE COAT and the ‘Brilliance‘ Top Coat suits its name and is brilliant, creating a glossy finish that helps your colour stay chip free for longer (mine lasted over a week which is great going for me!) The Jessica Nail File worked a dream and the Nourish Cuticle Formula smells really fresh but most importantly contains a load of antioxidant vitamins that helps to nourish and soothe cuticles and helps with nail growth!
