Bevvy of the Week – Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Gin

Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Gin

Year on year gin has seen incredible growth in the Irish market. Gin’s of exceptional quality are being produced in Ireland and around the world using the finest ingredients and botanicals. It’s this quality that has driven the demand for this spirit.

People Love Gin

They love it because there are no limitations in what can be done. Whether it’s the traditional botanicals of juniper berries and coriander seed to the interesting and wild flavours of seaweed and ginseng. The variety and the endless expanse of flavours is one of the main reasons gin will continue to go from strength to strength.

This week’s ‘Bevvy of the Week’ is a newish gin from Gordon’s called Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Gin. Released before the summer last year, Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Gin was a big hit. And although I was really looking forward to trying it, I only got around to it last weekend.

So was it worth the wait? Yes, it certainly was. I’d say it’s the perfect drink to relax on a sunny afternoon with.

The familiar taste of Gordon’s is still very much present however the ‘Mediterranean Orange’ brings a very lively and refreshing element. Mix it with tonic or soda water for the perfect summer bevvy.

Gordon’s Mediterranean Orange Gin comes in a 700ml bottle, is 37.5%abv and will set you back around €25.

Enjoy, Sláinte,

Patrick
