Just a short post this year to wish you all a very special Christmas. I hope you have someone special to spend the day with.
This year Patrick and I get to be Santa for the first time to our beautiful nine month old son (so that’s why my graphics are all cartoony this year), and all from the comfort of our new home (well it’s an old house but it’s new to us). New parents, new baby, new home. What an exciting year it has been for our little family. I feel grateful every day (even the days I’ve had feck all sleep and look like a banshee).
… And that’s the secret folks, be grateful for what you’ve got. I know it’s hard sometimes when things aren’t going as planned or how you imagined they would go. We all suffer in our own ways from time to time but it’s important to not give in to the darkness of what if’s, stress, heartache and sadness. Don’t let it drain the life from you. Be grateful for what you do have and keep it constantly in your mind. Let this gratefulness pick you up and fill you full of life. You’ll be a much happier and healthier person for it.
