My Dr Martens Boots Style Creation and China Blue Shoes

I like to host and run competitions here on The Life of Stuff and from time to time I enter competitions through other blogs myself, sure I’m only human after all! Well, a couple of weeks ago I entered a competition to win a pair of Dr Martens Boots through China Blue Shoes Blog and all I had to do to be in with a chance to win was style a pair and send my entry to them. I’d consider styling my forte so for me the competition was fun, I even entered with two style collages … I could’ve created more but I didn’t want to lose the run of myself. The competition was even more fun when I received an email to say that I had won my choice of Dr. Martens 8-Eye boots from China Blue’s collection as a prize … score!

I thought I’d share with you my competition entries including my winning entry. I’ve added what stores each item can be found – they are all High Street and affordable. I’ve also included photo’s of the pair of Dr Martens that I chose as my prize, the Tattoo Sleeve Tan Boot, which I received the other day. I paired it with a simple black wrap dress and black tights, next time it will be my leather look leggings and I know they’ll look great with my black skinny jeans too.

A big Thank You to China Blue Shoes, I’ve been a fan for many years and will be for some time to come.

If you’d like to check out their Dr Marten collection, you can do so by clicking here and if you’re in Dublin, you’ll find them at 47 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2 (an apt address for a Shoe Shop you’ll have to agree). China Blue have a blog as I mentioned and are active on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus so keep an eye out for more competitions and shoe news.
