‘REAL BODIES only in Dublin’ coming to Dublin’s Ambassador Theatre
‘Stunning new exhibition explores the human body through physiology, culture and emotion’ Just as the poster reads ‘Real Bodies only in Dublin‘ is an authentic, original exhibition on human anatomy promising to get you thinking about your own body. In fact they say ‘You’ll never see your body the same way again’!
The exhibition explores life by displaying 14 perfectly preserved and very real human bodies, as well as more than 200 anatomical specimens.
The aim of the exhibition is to connect with those who visit and provoke a sense of what it means to be alive. This is done not by simply displaying human specimens but by pushing boundaries by blending art and science together to create emotion.
‘Founded on anatomical, cultural, and emotional narratives, the exhibition transforms the way we view the mysterious organism we all share – the human body – and reminds us of all the complexity and magic within us that we often take for granted. REAL BODIES digs deeper into the beauty of the body, mind, and soul than any other exhibition of its kind, and invites you to explore the entire human experience from the first breath to the last.’
Our bodies are magical and unique. Real Bodies explores the synergy that exists in our bodies that result in hunger, love and thought to name a few.
“While the exhibition moves through the human body using a system by system approach, the exhibition also looks far beyond the physical aspects of these systems,” said President and CEO of Imagine Exhibitions Tom Zaller. “It explores the symbolic and cultural significance that these systems have had from the beginning of time, human evolution through time and questions why we do what we do and how we do it. Whether or not a visitor is spiritual, they’ll emerge from REAL BODIES with a sense of greater connection—a connection to the whole of humanity.”
REAL BODIES will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from March 10th 2017, but only for a limited engagement.
Tickets range in price from free to children under four years old to €42.00 for Family Weekend Passes. You’ll find all the ticket information you need at Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and from the Ambassador Theatre Box Office.
