Festivals this March on the Island of Ireland
This March 2020 the island of Ireland will celebrate three important events.
- Seachtain na Gaeilge takes place from March 9th to March 13th, visit peig.ie or snag.ie for event information. Don’t worry you can translate the site if your Irish is a bit rusty. I’ll be encouraging our household to practice a cúpla focal.
- Mother’s Day takes place on March 22nd, so don’t miss that or there’ll be war up and down the country with wooden spoons threatened from every angle! Including my own.
- And St Patrick’s Day takes place on March 17th – the largest St. Patrick’s Day Festivals are highlighted below but for more inspiration see this:
