It could feel like a lonely experience to be Irish and live somewhere other than Ireland, but thankfully, and as we mentioned earlier, the Irish are everywhere! Unless you live in the smallest of towns, there’ll nearly certainly be other people of Irish descent and heritage living near to you. And if you live in anything resembling a large-ish city, then there’ll probably be a whole club dedicated to celebrating Irish culture. Why not go along and meet others? You’ll find that you’ll learn a lot, which is great if you’ve only recently gained an interest in your Irish past.
