Dublin Fashion Festival 2012

It’s all about Fashion

Well I have to say there are lots of events to choose from over this four day Dublin Fashion Festival which kicks off of on Thursday September 6th and catwalks through into the latish hours of Sunday September 9th. From DFF (Dublin Fashion Festival) by Night Fashion Parades to Vogue Fashion Shows, from Fashion Workshops to Music & Entertainment!

Lots of stores are offering discounts on purchases or free gifts with purchases … so if you have the spondulas and you’re into fashion it’s a heaven of a weekend for you. However if like me you don’t have the spondulas to splash out on a new pair of Jimmy Choo’s then fret not as all the events around the city are FREE!

I’ll definitely be found in the city centre over the coming days … I’d hate to miss out on all the Fashion Action! Starting each day from 9.30am and with most events ending at 9pm each night, there is sure to be some part of the Fashion Festival that will tickle a fancy or two.

As I mentioned and as you can see from the events pages above there will be everything from shows and parades to workshops and masterclasses not to mention food and entertainment. The majority of these events will be happening in and around the major shopping areas of Brown Thomas, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre and Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on the South Side and the ILac Centre, Jervis Shopping Centre and Clearys on the North Side … so peeps with preferences to taking sides won’t even have to cross a bridge!

I also mentioned that lots of stores are giving discounts on purchases so I’ve made a quick summary of some of the best who, where and how much in alphabetical order. I’ve also included the competitions and more importantly what’s complimentary ie what’s FREE!
