Rose Gold, Gold and Silver Necklaces on Etsy

A priority on this weekend’s shopping list was a dainty rose gold, gold or silver necklace for a special event which will be happening next month. I wanted necklaces that were:

  • cute, a little different and I didn’t want to spend much.

I thought about going High Street as I did see a few nice bits and pieces when I was out and about last weekend. I also considered dedicating a part of my Saturday traipsing around the different stores in Dublin to find what I wanted. However I ended up traipsing around the stores for other things I wanted instead. I wasn’t bothered that I didn’t pick up my priority item as the plan was already in my mind to do the following: Go home, turn on my PC and log into Etsy.

The way I saw and I see it – I could spend my few bob in a High Street store and get some pretty costume jewellery that may last for years but most likely will break, turn green, turn my skin green and be seen on every like-minded fashion follower or I could buy some jewellery from budding designers, which are handmade, most likely one of a kind and all for pretty much the same price as the aforementioned mass produced High Street stuff. If you have the know how on online purchasing do you even need to think about it?

As I was searching for my perfect piece or two I put together my favourites in Rose Gold, Gold and Silver for this Fashion Fix. All the designers featured are Irish or based in Ireland, apart from a few UK designers in the Rose Gold section. My order is in and I’m looking forward to receiving my parcel in the post in a few days … nice.
