To celebrate the launch of Wholefood‘s brand new website Wholefoods.ie, The Life of Stuff has teamed up with the Wholefoods Team to give you the chance of winning a cool and calming Rescue Remedy Hamper. More on the competition details below but first here’s what you should know about Wholefoods.ie and Rescue Remedy …
Wholefoods are Ireland’s largest and longest established supplier of natural products and healthcare. They stock over 8,000 brands and distribute them out to Health Stores and Pharmacies nationwide. Brands include Dr. Bronners, Jason Natural Skincare, Kinvara Skincare, Eskimo-3, A.Vogel, Rescue Remedy, Quest, Terranova, Surya Brazil, Faith in Nature and Nourkrin but there are many more.
To get a clearer picture of where you can find the nearest Health Store or Pharmacy Wholefoods distribute to, click on their handy Store Locator tab on their website.
As mentioned Wholefoods recently revamped their website. The reason for this is …
This is our way of now being able to communicate and educate consumers on natural products and healthcare. In the past, Wholefoods have only communicated direct to our retailers!’ (Ashley Grey – Wholefoods)
Wholefoods are now active on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, Google + and LinkedIn. They can be contacted through their website, by email and have an active Blog that includes advice and recipes … Great stuff!
Rescue Remedy’s motto is ‘I can do this‘ and they are encouraging you to take a moment with them to keep you cool, calm and collected especially now when the majority of us lead such busy lives; working, socialising and parenting. Add to these the time spent at our PC’s or on our smart phones and the ‘quiet time’ we should be putting aside for ourselves is actually put to the side!
Here are Rescue Remedy’s tips to help you get through life’s obstacles and help you enjoy your day:
‘Share the problem – most problems or everyday hurdles can at times seem overwhelming, but sharing them with a friend will help to put them into perspective. A problem share really is a problem halved!
Have a cup of tea – More than four out of ten people claim that a cup of tea always makes them feel better.
Take a short break – this will give you time to clear your head and plan what you need to do next to achieve the most out of your day.
Scale down expectations – recognise your limitations and only take on what you can accomplish within the given time period.
Disconnect – keeping your worries at bay and remaining calm gives your body less time in the ‘fight or flight’ mode and more time accomplishing what you need to get done.‘
The Rescue Remedy formulation is a combination of five Bach Original Flower Essences; Star of Bethlehem, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose and Cherry Plum, which are blended to provide support in times of emotional demand. It’s suitable for all the family and can be used in times of stress or anticipation – think exams, moving house, getting married … the list could go on!
The Rescue Remedy products available range in price from €4.95 to €11.75. For more information on each product available click-through to the Wholefoods website here.
