Supporting Your Local Hotel & Dine at Home

Covid-19 has drastically affected numerous small, medium and large businesses in multiple industries the length and breadth of Ireland. Often like a domino effect that many of us don’t even realise or consider – because if one suffers, many suffer. Each industry just as important as the next – from food to fashion.

Our Music and Arts industry, our Restaurant, Bar and Food Services Industry, our Tourism Companies, and our Hotel Industry. The later of which often combines all the aforementioned industries under its roof. It hasn’t been easy, but we’re a positive nation. And where adaption could be introduced, it has been – from virtual experiences, to online events. Some restaurants have temporarily becoming food markets, bars are delivering their brews, cafés offering takeaway options. And many hotels, and their restaurants are offering customers the chance to bring a little of their local luxury hotel home with their dine at home menus, delivery, and click and collect services.

There are so many wonderful hotels on this island of Ireland, and I plan to experience the majority of them at some time in my lifetime. This article features just twelve of the wonderful hotels I have stayed in over my years of exploring – it’s to give you an idea of what’s available and to encourage you, when you can, to show support for your local hotel and their restaurants.
