WIN a Lonely Planet Ireland Travel Guidebook - 2022 Edition - featuring The Life of Stuff.com

I’ve been a fan of Lonely Planet since I started travelling. So to appear in a travel guide book that I’ve been a fan of for over 20 years is really something special for me. And to have the Lonely Planet Ireland books featuring my website, The Life of Stuff in them on my bookshelf next to the often battered Lonely Planet travel books that travelled the world with me fills me with pride.

  1. I am so interested in going to Cork, Ireland. This is where a ton of my ancestor are from.

  2. My favourite place in Ireland is Spanish Point in County Clare. It’s steeped in fascinating history, the locals are really friendly, the food is gorgeous and there’s loads of beaches to choose from. A winning combination!

  3. I absolutely love Westport. Such a quaint yet lively town and so much to see and do nearby. Not to mention spectacular scenery and drives!

  4. My favorite place in Ireland is Donegal, wild, rugged, beautiful and somewhat more remote than anywhere else in Ireland.

  5. My favourite place in Ireland is Co. Clare. There are so many beautiful beaches, friendly villages and the gorgeous town of Ennis which has amazing boutiques. The cafés and restaurants are fabulous too!

  6. It changes frequently, but my favourite place this week is Cape Clear or Oilean Clèire. A switch off kind of place, ruggedly beautiful. Being an hour ferry ride away makes it even more special. And the people are gorgous with some quirky characters!

  7. My favourite place is Connemara.. is so beautiful I’m 55 at end of month and spending a night in Delphi and another in Clifden

  8. Every time I visit a new place, it becomes my favourite! I recently enjoyed a stay in Doolin and it’s magnificent there. Spectacular scenery, many restaurants and pubs and you can take a visit to the Aran Islands from there and the Cliffs of Moher are nearby too.

  9. My favourite place in Ireland is Dungarvan, Waterford. The town and wider area are some of the loveliest areas in the country. Id move there if I could!

  10. Love Co Kilkenny. Great city and beautiful countryside too. Lots to see and do, from Castle, River tour, shops, pubs, etc etc. Summer or Winter it’s always beautiful and great hotels, B&Bs to stay in.
Love The Marble City, a real joy to experience.

  11. Favourite place:. Cladagh Glen walk near marvel arch caves in Fermanagh and then the Killykeegan picnic area… stunning and never a person about it… baffling!

  12. Sharon Farrelly
Doolin pier Co Clare nestled under the cliffs of mother and looking out to the Aran Islands.

  13. I have subscribed and followed on Instagram! My favourite county is wicklow. I am in love with the mountains. The bray walks. The amazing Sally gap. There is just so much to appreciate!
