Pink Elephant Rosé Frizzante
There’s nothing better than winding down the evening with a nice cold glass of bubbly. There are many to choose from these days with some great value to be had.
I came across Pink Elephant in the local shop. I didn’t intend on picking up a bottle of bubbly but it was too tempting to pass up seeing that it was a cracking evening and the bottle was chilled and frosted….. how could I resist, and I’m glad I didn’t.
Pink Elephant is a semi sparkling rose from La Mancha in Spain. It is made from 100% Tempranillo and has bags of character. Light and fresh with rich ripe berries dominating the palate with loads of red fruits flavours. It is a medium dry wine and has lots of acidity which enable the flavours to linger for a while.
It comes in at a nice 10.5% abv and will cost around €10.
