Sharps Atlantic Exceptional Pale Ale
This week I would like to recommend Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale.
This is an English pale ale from Cornwall. I tried this bevvy some time back but it’s only recently that I actually sat down to enjoy a bottle or two.
As with a lot of pale ales the hoppy character can be really in your face, which I like sometimes, but this Pale Ale is more subtle. Yes the hoppy character is there but it’s softer and more rounded. I could see myself having a few of these, unlike other pale ales which start to get heavy after a couple. This is not a craft beer to say but it’s a nice enjoyable beer and something different from the main beer line.
Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale will set you back €2.50 per bottle and you should find it in most Off Licences.
Enjoy, Sláinte,
Patrick
