Why Visit Vegas?

Before we get to the honeymoon portion, let’s first discuss the reasons why somebody might want to visit Vegas. Of course, everybody will already have made up their mind about the main reason; gambling. There is a reason Las Vegas has earned the nickname “Sin City.” Not only is it the USA’s gambling capital, but the biggest gambling destination in the world.

Prospective and professional players from all over the world make a pilgrimage to Vegas at least once, hoping to play at one of the USA’s biggest, most luxurious, and most popular casinos. And due to the rise in popularity of online gambling, where can now access the likes of Vegas-caliber casino games from your PC or your phone, you can now prepare yourself to play in person by playing poker online for fun from the comfort of your own home.

While that might be great, especially for poker fans, and as long as it’s only for fun – it doesn’t actually spell romance, does it? But is playing poker and sitting at slot machines all there is to Las Vegas?

We would argue that, even if you’re not a fan of casinos, you can have an entertaining time in Sin City. Risque, burlesque performances will titillate audiences, while male striptease shows will give attendees something to talk about. When it comes to shopping, prepare yourself for the strip malls where you’ll find every type of shop available to suit every style and taste from indie shops to designer outlets.

Magic shows are perfect for everyone, and the city is also home to some fascinating museums, most notably the Mafia Museum. And of course you can’t forget the Las Vegas Residencies at world renowned venues such as The Colosseum and MSG Sphere. How amazing is the mind blowing residency from our very own U2!

Depending on your preferences, all of this may sound like fun. But the one thing it doesn’t do, is make you think of a romantic honeymoon. Which leads us to the main point of this article; Can you have a romantic honeymoon in Sin City?

Whether you’re a hiker, a romantic at heart, or an adventurous soul, Las Vegas can provide you with the romantic environment you deserve to celebrate your honeymoon. Let’s Look at Fine Wining and Dining

Whether you’re speaking to the top chefs, prominent food and travel critics, or to food journalists, they will all say the same thing: food can be a deep expression of love. Not just romantic love, though it certainly encompasses that as well, but also love for culture, new experiences, or even self-love. It is, therefore, unsurprising, that fine dining is one of the many ways in which we express romance and love.

Las Vegas is certainly home to some high-quality restaurants, famous around the country for their cuisine. Perhaps it won’t surprise you to learn that many of said restaurants are a part of the luxurious casino resorts that decorate the city’s skyline. If you have opted for a honeymoon in Sin City, these are just a few of the must-visit restaurants that will make your mouth water.

  • Le Cirque: Le Cirque at The Bellagio is one of the most ornate in Las Vegas. French to the core, the restaurant oozes elegance, from the food to the atmosphere. How about Adventurous Spirits!

Finally, the last thing we must mention is what Las Vegas can provide for those of us with an adventurous spirit. One thing that Sin City is famous for is its incredible amount of gorgeous, exciting, and attractive hiking destinations. The Red Rock Canyon is the most popular destination for hikers, boasting several incredible trails, that will expose you to the natural beauty of the Nevadan landscapes. And Seven Magic Mountains, an art installation created by renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone in Ivanpah Valley, just outside of Las Vegas, is definitely a reason to venture out to the desert.

If hiking isn’t your thing, why not experience the nature from a higher altitude? On a hot air balloon! The trip may cost a pretty penny. However, once you are up in the sky with the love of your life, you will truly experience the world as you never have before.
