Bevvy of the Week – Stonewell Irish Cider

Stonewell Irish Cider

Stonewell Irish Cider

Along with all this great Irish Craft Beer on the market at the moment, there is also a number of Irish Craft Cider now available and really great ones too.

This week we are going to look at Stonewell Irish Cider from the rebel county, Cork.

Stonewell have three types of cider, dry, medium dry and Tobairin cider. But it’s just the dry and medium dry stonewell cider we’ll be looking at this week as I have yet to try the Tobairin.

I would never go for a dry cider myself as I like a bit of sweetness to my cider but Stonewell Dry is very tasty and flavoursome. The medium dry was more to my liking as it has a soft gentle sweetness to it. Both these cider are great drinks so if you are into you ciders I would not hesitate in recommending Stonewell Cider to you.

As these are craft ciders you can expect to pay a little more, but this is a quality cider so it’s well worth it. You can pick up a 500ml bottle for around €4 and both ciders are alc 5.5% vol

Cheers, Sláinte,

Patrick

  1. Woah! I’m realoy digging the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yyet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard
to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance.
I must say you have done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely fast for me on
    Chrome. Superb Blog!
