Crested Ten Irish Whiskey
This week I would like to recommend Crested Ten Irish Whiskey. Crested Ten is part of the Jameson family and is the first whiskey Jameson bottled themselves back in the 1960s.
Originally a 10-year-old whiskey, Crested Ten is now a seven to nine-year-old whiskey. But the name still stands. This whiskey is a step up from the original Jameson, which is a five to seven-year-old whiskey and you can taste the difference.
The Pot Still character really comes through with aromas of spice and ginger. This is a full-bodied whiskey with flavours of spice and fruit. And there’s even a bit of sweetness in there as well.
If you like the original Jameson, then this whiskey is well worth a go. You should pick up a bottle for around €35.
Enjoy, Sláinte,
Patrick
