Bevvy of the Week - Brewdog Tokyo - The Life of Stuff

“I DEMAND BOOZE !”, then it is booze you shall have and as this is my first post on The Life of Stuff about a topic I hold very dear to my heart, as I’m sure many of us do, let’s start it off with a bang!

Straight from the deepest, darkest parts of the BrewDog Brewery, comes this killer stout. Legend has it that the man who invented it just arrived to the brewery door one winter’s night and demanded to be let loose to brew a beast, and a beast he did brew.

Well maybe I made that part up but there is no doubting that this drink is a beast, and the name the beast goes by is BrewDog Tokyo – Imperial Oak Aged Stout. Now this is not a stout that you would give your Granny on Christmas morning, this is a fully loaded 33cl alc 18.2% vol stout. It’s packed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine, cranberries and hops, all aged on French Toasted Oak Chip.

So sit back, sip and enjoy but be warned the road of excess may not always lead to a palace of wisdom, or will it ?

Until next week,

Sláinte,

Patrick
