Monkey 47, Schwarzwald Dry Gin

This week I would like to recommend a gin from Germany called Monkey 47. This gin comes from the Black Forest Distillers and they use 47 ingredients to make this very fine tipple.

Many of the ingredients come from the Black Forest itself like Angelica Root and Brambles Leave. They source their Juniper Berries from the Mediterranean, which makes Monkey 47 a very unique drink indeed. 

The bottle itself looks like an old medicine bottle and it’s sealed by a cork. There is so much going on in this gin it’s hard to explain but it’s packed with so much flavour. You will have to try it yourself to see what you can find.

Monkey 47 Dry Gin comes in a 500ml bottle and will set you back about €60.
