Bevvy of the Week – The Award-Winning Tito’s Handmade Vodka

Tito’s Handmade Vodka

This week I’d like to recommend a vodka produced in Austin Texas called Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Bevvy of the Week - The Award-Winning Tito's Handmade Vodka
We are all becoming familiar with good quality vodkas appearing in Off Licences and bars with the likes of Grey Goose, Belvedere and Ketel One to name just a few. Long gone are the days when it was just Smirnoff and a few others to choose from. The variety, range and most importantly, the quality is outstanding, and if you are willing to spend a little extra you will have a wide range to choose from.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka is produced in the first legal and oldest distillery in Texas. It is distilled six times in old-fashioned pot stills resulting in a really clean, fresh vodka. It is made from corn which gives it a slight sweet character.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka is one of those vodka’s you drink chilled, on its own. If mixing it, just a little soda water but its best enjoyed on its own.

A bottle will cost around €45. It comes in a 700ml bottle and is a proper 40% abv. For more on Tito’s Handmade Vodka, visit the website here.

Enjoy, Sláinte,

Patrick
