If you love beer and you love bananas this week’s Bevvy of the Week may be just for you. 

Mongozo Banana Beer is a beer with loads if juice from fair trade bananas added. I’m not a huge fan of fruit flavoured beer but Mongozo Banana Beer wasn’t half bad.

This fruit beer is not like others I have tried, where the fruit flavours are very subtle, Mongozo is jammed packed with a sweet banana flavour with a bit of caramel to boot.

This one is a must for banana lovers. It’s 3.6 abv and will set you back around €3.50.

There are other flavours in the range like coconut and mango that I have yet to try but when I do I’ll let you know how I got on.
