The Crossings – Malborough Sauvignon Blanc
For this week’s Bevvy of the Week I would like to recommend a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand called The Crossings. The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Awatere Valley in the Marlborough region. They have been producing quality wines for some time now, but last year they won a gold medal for quality at the International Wine & Spirit Competition for their Sauvignion Blanc 2013.
This is a light lemon coloured wine. It’s packed full of exotic fruits with Gooseberry and Lime flavours shining through. It has a really lively acidity and a long lingering finish.
This really is a great wine. So if you are a Sauvignon Blanc lover you are going to love The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc. It will set you back around €19 but its worth every drop.
Enjoy, Sláinte
Patrick
